Single Panel Memory Bank Save
THE QUESTION: "Can I save just one Panel Memory Bank instead of all 80 panel memory setups with the song setups I put on disk?"
Select SAVE from the disk menu. Then select PAGE 2. Then for Panel Memory, push the Down Arrow (or NO) button twice. You should see 1 BANK, instead of NO or YES for the Panel Memory option.
When you save the panel memory using this method, only bank 1 will be saved and the other 9 banks will not be included in the saved file. Later when the file is loaded from disk, only bank 1 will be changed and the other 9 panel memory banks will be left alone. This reduces the amount of disk space needed for the file and the other 9 banks will always be the same. This provides a consistent set up pattern for the other 9 banks that you can depend on regardless of what file was loaded from disk (assuming the file was saved with this option).
See Page 123 of your users manual for a discussion on Single Panel Memory Bank Save.
For HD-AE5000 hard disk users: This option is not available for the hard drive. The option can only be used with floppy disks. Key Soft Service was unable to include this very useful option with the hard drive software.
